That was a great article. I think you are right. Just like every part of the worship service, the sermon is a tool, yes, one that God has ordained, but one that should lead our hearers to worship God. Christ should be the center of our sermon. Our hearers need to hear from Him. That’s hard for them to do if they can’t see Christ because we have made OURSELVES too visible.
